Acyclostad Labial cream contains Aciclovir that is used to treat viral infections (antiviral medicine).
- Acyclostad is used: To relieve pain and itching for recurrent herpes infections with blistering on and around the lips (recurrent herpes labialis).
Apply a thin layer of cream on the affected skin area 5 times a day every 4 hours.
Directions for Use:
- Use a cotton pad to apply as much cream as needed to cover the infected skin area. when using Acyclostad, make sure you have covered not only the area with visible manifestations of herpes infection (blisters, swelling, redness), but also the adjacent areas.
- If you apply the cream by hand, be sure to wash your hands before and after applying it to prevent further infection of the injured skin area (such as bacteria) and to transmit the virus to other affected mucous or skin areas.
