Boric alcohol contains as active ingredient Boric Acid, which has weak bacteriostatic and fungistatic properties. 
  • Its alcoholic solution (in diluted alcohol) has analgesic and antiseptic effect in otalgia.


Always use Boric Alcohol as advised by your doctor.
If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If you feel that the effects of boric alcohol are too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
  • It is recommended that boric alcohol drops be taken in the supine position.
  • A few drops of solution (2 - 5 drops) are dropped on the sick ear and a cotton swab is put on the ear.
  • After 1 - 2 hours the dripping solution can be repeated and continued until the pain subsides.
