Lordes 5 MGcontains desloratadine an anti-allergic drug that does not give drowsiness. Helps control allergic reactions and their symptoms throughout the day by helping to continue normal daily activities and a more comfortable sleep.
- Desloratadine works by preventing the effects of a substance produced by our own body called Histamine. Histamine can cause itching, sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes.
- Desloratadine relieves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal mucosa caused by allergenic substances) in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. These symptoms include sneezing, runny nose or itching, itchy palate, red or watery eyes.
- Desloratadine can be prescribed to relieve the symptoms of urticaria (skin rash caused by allergies) which is accompanied by itching and local redness.
Instructions for use:
- Adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older: The recommended dose is 1 tablet once daily with water, with or without food.
Contact a doctor if improvement is not seen after 7 days of treatment.
If you need to use Lordes for more than 3 months, consult a doctor to find out if the symptoms have another cause.
