Nutriben A.R. 1 is a dietary food with special medical uses, recommended for babies since birth, designed to reduce gastroesophageal reflux symptoms in babies.

The main feature of this formula is that is contains Carob Bean Gum which makes milk thicker, and thus, an alimentary bolus. 

  • It helps prevent episodes of regurgitation.
  • Also, carob bean gum, due to being a dietary fibre, stimulates growth of bacteria and increases the volume and viscosity of stools.

It also contains Galacto-Oligosaccharides that:

  • Help stimulate growth of bifidobacteria that are found in the colon.
  • Reduce constipation due to their fibre effect.
  • Strengthen the immune system.

Nucleotides improve intestinal development and reduce diarrhoea.


Dosage:

  • Age 0-2 weeks: 2 levelled scoops dissolved in 60 ml of boiled water. There are recommended 8 feeds per day.
  • Age 2-8 weeks: 3 levelled scoops dissolved in 90 ml of boiled water. There are recommended 7 feeds per day
  • Age 2-3 months: 5 levelled scoops dissolved in 150 ml of boiled water. There are recommended 5 feeds per day.
  • Age 3-6 months: 6 levelled scoops dissolved in 180 ml of boiled water. There are recommended 5 feeds per day.
  • Age 6 months and onwards: 8 levelled scoops dissolved in 240 ml of boiled water. There are recommended 4 feeds per day.
