Paracetamol EG
is an oral medication that contains the active ingredient Paracetamol.
Paracetamol works by reducing temperature (antipyretic) and relieving pain (analgesic).
Paracetamol EG
is used in adults, adolescents and children for:
treatment of conditions with fever such as flu, exanthematous diseases (typical infectious diseases of children and adolescents), acute respiratory diseases
pain of different origin and nature (headache, neuralgia, muscle pain and other moderate painful manifestations).
Talk to your doctor if you/your child do not feel better or if they feel worse after 3 days of treatment.
- It is available in 2 forms: Paracetamol EG 500 MG with 16 tablets and Paracetamol EG 1000 MG with 8 effervescent tablets.
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- Adults - The recommended dose is 1 tablet at a time, to be repeated if necessary after 4 hours, without exceeding 6 doses per day. In case of severe pain or high fever, 2 tablets of 500 mg should be repeated if necessary after no less than 4 hours.
Use in children and adolescents
For children it is essential to respect the dose determined according to their body weight, the doctor will indicate the most suitable formulation based on the child's body weight.
