The contained enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO) corresponds to the body's enzyme, which breaks down food histamine. In the form of DAOZym®, the DAO enzyme can be easily supplied as required and thus contribute to the tolerance of foods containing histamine. DAOZym® also contains the amino acid L-glutamine in its bioidentical L form.

• Glutamine is a building block for making proteins in the body. It's also needed to make other amino acids and glucose. Glutamine supplements might help gut function, immune function, and other processes, especially in times of stress when the body uses more glutamine.
• Diamine oxidase (DAO) is a digestive enzyme produced in your kidneys, thymus, and the intestinal lining of your digestive tract. Its primary function is to break down excess histamine in your body.

It is recommended to take 3 capsules per day with plenty of water.
