Gaviscon-L contains a class of drugs called antacids.

  • Antacids neutralize the acidity produced in the stomach and form a protective layer on the gastric mucosa. They are used in the treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux, which is characterized by indigestion, pain in the upper stomach and chest, burning sensation and return of gastric fluid to the esophagus.
It is used in the treatment of symptoms caused by high stomach acidity and reflux. It neutralizes acidity, forms a protective layer in the stomach, relieves pain and burning in the stomach.

  • In adults and children over 12 years: It is recommended to take 10-20 ml, after meals and at bedtime.
  • In children 6-12 years: It is recommended to take 5-10 ml, after meals and at bedtime.
