Migretil * 20

Migretil is a treatment that helps relieve migraine attacks with or without aura and severe headaches.

• Ergotamine helps narrow widened blood vessels in the head, which reduces the throbbing effects of vascular headaches.
• Caffeine has vasoconstrictive properties, meaning that blood vessels narrow to restrict blood flow, thereby alleviating the pain.
• Over-the-counter painkillers, such as Paracetamol, can help to reduce symptoms of migraine. It tends to be most effective if taken at the first signs of a migraine attack, as this gives time to absorb into your bloodstream and ease your symptoms.

Dosage:

• 2 tablets taken at the same time, during the aura or at the onset of headache. 
• If necessary, another tablet can be administered after half an hour: this dose can be repeated after another half hour.
